There have been whispers of Google engaged on a UI refresh for the Play Retailer for a while now. The final time Play Retailer acquired a brand new look was in 2019 when it rolled out the new Material theme with a brand new shade scheme and backside navigation bar. Whereas these parts have remained, this newest redesign does transfer round some UI parts in an effort to make issues look cleaner.
Sadly, not all of the adjustments to the Play Retailer are being wager positively, with some complaining about how Google is hiding menu gadgets and making them tougher to search out:
It’s value noting that one drawback with the hamburger menu was that it was unreachable because of the growing dimension of the best Android phones just like the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra. Google’s gesture navigation in Android is commonly unreliable in that regard and did little to resolve that. Shifting the menu to a different ingredient on the high of the display appears to make issues worse as a result of tapping the profile thumbnail seems to be the one choice now.
Have you ever acquired the brand new Play Retailer UI but? What are your ideas on the adjustments?
